That Justin[1] fella is the one who can answer definitively since he is the maintainer, but I don't see any problem with the above build run. Do you mean the "-Wmissing-declarations" and similar things? They're just arguments to the compiler (gcc) to generate a warning if a global function is provided without a prototype (try "man gcc" at the command prompt).
