The command is: openssl req -new -out server.csr And I get the following: unable to write 'random state' I searched this on google and I found one entry saying that I have to set RANDFILE in the environment or use the "-rand" option. I can't get it to work though. I admit that I am lacking in understanding here and I am not sure if I should actually be asking this question at an openssl forum... Any input is greatly appreciated!
