It is 1.3.14 and above that > show this problem. Curiouser and curiouser. With 1.3.15 and the 11/20 snapshot I can run tf from within strace. That is, I can enter text into it and even connect to worlds. That is not to say that I can *use* it, the output doesn't work quite correctly.
