Sorry for not being clear about the specific problem I encountered which is almost certainly caused by the version mismatch, but I didn't know if that classified as a bug proper - please see the description of the problem in the message included. > I don't recall any discussion on this on the libx*l lists, which I am > also on. Maybe the different libxml2 versions have been too compatible :-) to produce a problem of that kind in most cases of version mismatch within xsltproc?
