I now only have the problem that I know that only Administrator gets the right root directory (d:\cygwin), but all the others only get a wrong one (e:\). My WINNT is installed on E:\, because I cannot have a bigger C:\ (no BIOS, but a PROM, so no upgrade!). I tried to give everybody the same root by running setup.exe as Administrator, but that didn't help. Even fiddling with the registry didn't do what I wanted. How can I give all the others the same root directory as the user it was installed with? Ciao, Dscho -- +++ GMX - Mail, Messaging & more http://www.gmx.net +++ NEU: Mit GMX ins Internet.
