You're right.  I'm very wrong.  Sorry for the misinformation.  These are
the specific files that should be removed:

-rwxrwxrwx cgf/group       674 2002-11-08 23:01:47 usr/lib/libg2c.la

As someone who has publicly expressed my distate for libtool and my lack
of warm fuzzy feeling for autotools in general, I think you can safely
assume that I wasn't trying to prod you to do anything libtool related.
