Thanks for any suggestions. It's not a problem. It's a feature. This is Cygwin. Cygwin uses UNIX style paths. Use UNIX style paths if you want to use UNIX tools: cp /cygdrive/c/temp/tmt.c tcp cgf -- Please do not send me personal email with cygwin questions or observations.
