Well folks, thanks for your help and sorry about the
bother.  I was able to identify the bugs and fix them
(the ones I know about)  In short, SaveMyModem now
works properly.  This is good.

If anyone would care to look, I would sure appreciate
any reviews, comments, bug reports, and preferrably
patches with tons of new code for SaveMyModem.  Please
only use the CVS version as the tarball is getting
quite dated.  The URL is below.
