Date: Mon, 21 Oct 2002 16:11:39 -0500 Message-ID: <000901c27946$728e5f80$0104a8c0@dornquast> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Priority: 3 (Normal) X-MSMail-Priority: Normal Importance: Normal X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2800.1106 I recently started having a problem that hundreds of others have documented over the last year or so. When doing cvs commands like "cvs co " it hangs on the very last file. This only happens when you're using cygwin over SSH. (Sourceforge recommends you do just that) The problem occurs when you turn on compression. In my case, I had added the line: cvs -z3 -q -e vi to my .cvsrc file located in my home directory. Simply removing the "-z3" eliminated the problem. Hope this helps clear up the issues/mysteries around this bug. ~Matthew -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
