You couldn't have been lurking long if you haven't seen the quote: "Patches gratefully accepted" However, I should point out that Robert Collins implemented much of the command line functionality a while ago. AFAIK, it is not yet so complete that you can do a full batch-mode install but I assume that most of the hooks should be there. Discussion for this kind of thing typically takes place in cygwin-apps.
