However I am having trouble compiling them for myself. I run the ./configure command and all seems to work okay but when i try "make" I get the following error (example is proftpd - but is same with others...) make: *** No rule to make target `proftpd', needed by `all'. Stop. Have run with -d to get debugging output and last few lines were like this.... No implicit rule found for `proftpd'. Finished prerequisites of target file `proftpd'. Must remake target `proftpd'. make: *** No rule to make target `proftpd', needed by `all'. Stop. I have tried automake as well but this errors out. Anyone have any ideas about my next step?
