I am trying to download Cygwin using setup.exe 2.249.2.5. I always get the same message: ***** FROM: setup.log F:\Dados\Publica\cygwin/ftp%3a%2f%2fftp.unicamp.br%2fpub% 2fgnu%2f%3dEXTRA%3d%2fcygnus%2fcygwin/release/_update-info- dir/_update-info-dir-00042-1.tar.bz2 2002/08/06 18:09:05 mbox yesno: Download Incomplete. Try again? 2002/08/06 18:40:12 site: ftp://ftp.unicamp.br/pub/gnu/=EXTRA=/cygnus/cygwin ***** END: setup.log I tried some other sites, all the same problem. My connection is through a Linux box with squid. In setup.exe I choose: - Download from Internet - Use HTTP/FTP Proxy: linux_ip_address:80 I've searched this problem in mailing lists, but I've found nothing. Is that a known bug, or am I doing anything wrong? Is there any workarounds I can use, eg. download manually _update-info-dir-00042-1.tar.bz2, decompress it, and run the shell script?
