If it would set it to my id, anything would be OK. BTW: The setting of group 544 in my passwd entry was done following the recommendation in the FAQ (ding, ding, ding ... someone read it ... ), but it has no influence on this problem anyway. To answer Jason's question: No, installation is done for all/unix.
