I am experiencing a possibly related problem with sshd under 1.3.12-2. If I ssh to my laptop when disconnected from my PDC, then key exchange fails with the above error. If I ssh with password exchange regardless of my PDC connection state or with key exchange when connected to my PDC, then ssh succeeds.
