Just tried the command line here and it works fine.

r> Here is a directory listeing my font file:

r>     Directory of C:\WINDOWS\Fonts
r>     02/07/2000  01:27 AM           116,336 luconP.ttf

Have you just copied the file into the fonts directory ? If so, it is not
correct - you have to install the font.

Control Panel -> Fonts -> File menu -> Install new font
