I've upgraded my cygwin and inetutils and when I telnet to my machines now I can't access any UNC paths; instead I get the dreaded "Permission denied" message. My HOME is a UNC path to another machine and it worked fine last week! Could someone verify this and if it works for you with the latest cygwin/inets then email me and I'll humbly retract my question, write it off as one of those things that break all by themselves over the weekend and I'll attempt to resolve the problem myself!
