I went back to the previous version of w32api (1.4-1) 2. Removed the already downloaded 1.4-2 version of w32api 3. Re-downloaded the 1.4-2 version of w32api 4. Did, as you suggested, remove the setup.ini 5. Re-installed 'from local directory', et voila, it worked ok ;-) Would it also have worked if I had moved the new version of setup.ini, contained in the ftp%... directory to the 'root' directory?
