Here are the permission after doing chmod 777 on /usr/local/cvs/dde/client: $ find /usr/local/cvs/dde -type d -exec ls -ld {} \; drwxrwxrwx 7 mel None 0 May 13 09:21 /usr/local/cvs/dde drwxrwxrwx 2 mel None 0 May 13 09:27 /usr/local/cvs/dde/client Here is the cvs commit command: mel AT BORDERCOLLIE ~/projects/dde/client $ cvs commit -m"Removed all pthread usage except for RunTest." cvs commit: Examining .
