When i use chmod, it doesnt change the permissions. if i use "chmod -v ..." it reports that it has changed the permissions, but when i do an "ls -l" afterwards, the permissions remain unchanged. I am running Win2k from a fat32 partition _with_ ntsec set(i know this is only supposed to work on ntfs partitions, but it definitely used to work). I have tried changing the ntsec to ntea, and chmod still fails to work properly. If possible, i would like to run with ntsec, as sshd behaves a little better with it set. any help would be appreciated thanks -tim -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
