I need to determine if this failure can be replicated on any other Win98 hosted Cygwin 1.3.10 install or if the failure is unique to my setup. There may be a compatibility implication on running Cygwin on a Win98 host. I need some feedback from anyone on the list who has hosted Cygwin 1.3.10 on a Win98 machine and would be willing to compile and run the test case that I submitted in my original post. There does appear to be a difference in the response that Cygwin 1.3.10 elicits from the host operating system in the attempt to open a directory Read Only. -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
