It would be nice if one could have single centrally located passwd and group file so that each workstation could set up a symbolic link to these in it's /etc directory. I tried this- in general it works fine, but inetd seems to insist on a simple file, not a symbolic link. Is this worth fixing; ie would you consider supporting the symbolic link in a future release?
