Subject: how to find the amount of RAM

Is there a way to find the amount of RAM from within Cygwin?  I
tried sysconf(_SC_PHYS_PAGES) but that returns -1.  The only other
thing that I saw was a post on this list

but that never received an answer.  Any ideas?  Thanks.
