The Windows (in my case, Win2K) nslookup works fine and always has. Likewise, I have no /etc/resolv.conf file on my system. Where is the non-functional version of "nslookup" located on your system? Is it within your Cygwin hierarchy, or elsewhere? Did you create the /etc/resolv.conf?
