Building the debug cygwin is one of the next steps on our list. One point of clarification, though. We're running parallel rshs into the machines to run single-threaded makes from each rsh. This is different from running make and telling it to run and manage parallel submakes. Cygwin seems a little....ticklish there. Your best bet is to build a debug cygwin, and clearly identify the fault for one of the developers to be able to fix it for you.
