This is not good. I'm not 100 % sure if this is connected to your problem though. You can try removing both then reinstalling. Well, search the mailing list archive for the following: "[ANNOUNCEMENT] gettext-0.10.40-1" - this will help you understand whats going on and how to fix you problem.
