Porter Bassett" To: Subject: path problems when logged in through ssh Date: Sat, 15 Dec 2001 14:01:19 -0700 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Priority: 3 X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 5.50.4807.1700 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V5.50.4807.1700 When I ssh into my machine and try to run things installed in /usr/local/bin or /usr/sbin, windows pops up an error message saying "The dynamic link library cygwin1.dll could not be found in the specified path d:\cygwin\usr\local\bin;.;C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNTsystem;C\WINNT;." or if it is for a program installed in /usr/sbin, replace \local\bin with \sbin. Of course it doesn't find it in that path -- it's in d:\cygwin\bin, right where it should be.
