(Archives, FAQ, etc) Question 1 was answered about a week or two ago but I'm not sure if it's in the archives yet. Just in case: The easiest thing to do is get the JDK for Windows, install it, and then just call it from Cygwin. (Make sure you set up your PATH after installation. Read the installation instructions for the JDK for details.) Good luck. -Alex -----Original Message----- From: cygwin-owner AT cygwin DOT com [mailto:cygwin-owner AT cygwin DOT com] On Behalf Of Michael Tang Sent: Tuesday, December 11, 2001 5:13 AM To: cygwin AT cygwin DOT com Subject: Java on CGYWIN & How to compile packages Hi, I have two questions: 1. Can I run Java on CGYWIN environment? If so, where can I download Java for Cgywin environment? 2. How can I compile / include packages into cgywin environment. I heard you can modify some setup.ini files? Well, I am new-bie, thus and pointers will be of great help.
