You can't add -I/usr/include when using -mno-cygwin. -mno-cygwin causes the MinGW header files to be used and not Cygwin's "on purpose". Circumventing that will cause you to fail. MinGW only supports ANSI C as MS sees it with a few "add-ons". DON'T -I/usr/include WHEN USING -mno-cygwin.
