I was attempting to update my various cygwin
installations on multiple machines (one NT4 SP6 and
one Win98SE).  However, today setup.exe seems to be
erroring out after connecting to some of the mirror
sites.  The mirror that I use primarily is rcn.net. 
Also, planetmirror.com and sunsite.utk.edu cause the
error.  Using the nasa.gov mirror, however, works
except setup complains about using an older version of
setup.ini.  Am I having a version issue?  Below is the
setup.log and the stack dump information:
