I'm pretty sure this happens because Pierre is using Eudora to post this, and Eudora uses "format=flowed". This is (IMO) a very convenient feature that will wrap messages as intended on mail clients that understand it, without affecting mail clients that don't. However, even though it doesn't affect a human reader, it _does_ affect a computer reader, such as patch. Just re-send your patch as an attachment, and you should be fine. HTH, - Michael -- I always wondered about the meaning of life. So I looked it up in the dictionary under "L" and there it was - the meaning of life. It was not what I expected. - Dogbert -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
