I had raved to someone that the cygwind install "was a piece of cake" and they should do it to be interoperable with their RedHat machine. The latest install does not have an operable "full" button on it. Instead it was a long arduous session of coaching him on what he should do with the install. The circular Retrieve/Keep/V# etc buttons though complete are not friendly for an initial install one has to circle each one in entirety to know whether one has the latest version selcted or not. My old one which I downloaded only a couple of months ago does have a "full" button. ie: start it and go away for a while. I might agree it is now too large not to have only a full button now needing something like Light, Medium, Developer and then "advanced" for full package by package control and maybe having category selects that turn everything on under a branch like "Net". enough ranting for now :) PK -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
