The first program I tried to run was "vim" and I got the following error: The VIM.EXE file is linked to missing export CYGINTL.DLL:bind_textdomain_codeset. Any ideas? The other problem is that when I start Cygwin, I'm listed as "James Matthews AT OEMCOMPUTER" now I've heard that spaces in the username cause problems so I altered "etc/profile" to read: USER="jmatthews" NOT: USER="`id -un`" ...but when I restarted Cygwin, I was still listed as "James Matthews...". Any ideas there? Thanks, James. PS: Any Cygwin-compatible Java compilers out there? - James Matthews Generation5: http://www.generation5.org/ "...At the forefront of Artificial Intelligence..." -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
