This is a common problem- the system mount is eclipsed by the user mount. And the directions I gave you to use "/cygdrive/d/cygwin/umount -s /" won't remove a user mount (sorry). Try "/cygdrive/d/cygwin/umount /", I think that will remove the user mount, and then only the system mount will be visible, and things should work again.
