To do this, my understanding is that I need to issue the following commands. texconfig dvips paper letter texconfig xdvi paper us The problem is that texconfig seems to want to use the ed program to edit a configuration file, and my installation of cygwin doesn't have ed. Hence, I tried to download it, but could not find it on any of the following sites: ftp://mirrors.rcn.net/mirrors/sources.redhat.com/cygwin/ ftp://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/pub/pc/gnuwin32/cygwin/mirrors/cygnus/ http://programming.ccp14.ac.uk/ftp-mirror/programming/cygwin/pub/cygwin/ It was listed in Michael Hirmke's list of packages in the latest build though, loacted at http://www.hirmke.de/software/develop/gnuwin32/cygwin/porters/Hirmke_Michael/GNUWin32-links.html Any suggestions for finding ed (probably the easiest solution, since it is likely used elsewhere)?
