I have compiled and installed openLDAP 2.0.15 on cygwin 1.3.3-2 on W2K. The SLAPD process seems to run ok, the problem is that I can't find a way to take down the server in a controlled way. According to the users guide you're supposed to send him the INT signal, but when I do it, nothing happens, the only way to bring it down is to kill it -9. I've tried to run it both with ntsec and without, that didn't made any difference. I think my problems in running "make test" was because of the above. When I runned each test manually everything seemed to work. If have started it as both Administrator and as myself with no difference. Any idea to this behavior? Do I need to recompile it with some specific lib,DEFINE ?? I have tried the cygwin mailling lists, but haven't found anything on this.
