Though I'm afraid this isn't TERRIBLY helpful, my primary suggestion would be to get rid of ME ASAP and get 2K, XP, DOS 6.2, PC-DOS, Win 95, 98, 3.1, ANYTHING but ME. Barring that, however, does the problem ONLY manifest itself in Cygwin, or is it a problem in other Windows apps as well? -Alex -----Original Message----- From: cygwin-owner AT sources DOT redhat DOT com [mailto:cygwin-owner AT sources DOT redhat DOT com] On Behalf Of David Sent: Wednesday, October 10, 2001 6:35 PM To: cygwin AT cygwin DOT com Subject: RE: Shell CAPS-lock settings On my computer (Dell Inspiron 8100, WIn ME), the Caps Lock also shifts the other punctuation keys incorrectly: "," become "<', ";" becomes ":", "[" becomes "{", etc. Does anyone have a fix yet, or any new info? -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
