(Win2K on the same machine does not give me this issue). I am running the 1.3.3 DLL. After running cygwin apps for a few minutes, the entire OS slows down. The slow down happens in spurts. It is very difficult to explain, but the easiset way I can think to explain it is this : When I move my mouse back and forth across the screen, the mouse will stop for about 1 second, and continue to move for 2 more. Then, the mouse will stop for about 1 second, and continue to move for 2 more seconds again. This pattern repeats itself. I use the mouse movement as an explination of the problem, but it really affects the entire system. All programs loose responsiveness (And I suspect processor time as well). Along with this, if this happens over a long enough period of time, the Windows Clock (in the lower right corner of the taskbar) falls behind as well!!! It continues to move forward, but at a reduced rate. I am sorry I cannot give any other details than this. Has anyone ever seen this happen? Thanks, Brian __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? NEW from Yahoo!
