Terminal Services is a GUI remote control of Win2k Servers, WinNT4 Terminal Servers or Windows XP Machines. I've seen the errors you're talking about with the Windows Telnet Server. If your program's working, ignore it. -ME -----Original Message----- From: cygwin-owner AT sources DOT redhat DOT com [mailto:cygwin-owner AT sources DOT redhat DOT com] On Behalf Of Christopher Morgan Sent: Friday, October 05, 2001 8:13 AM To: IASCI,CHRISTOPHE (HP-France,ex1) Cc: cygwin AT cygwin DOT com Subject: Re: "Couldn't make stderr distinct from stdout" error with MS Termina lServer 1) I get this message whenever I run an app that is compiled against cygwin, like ls, gcc, which, etc. 2) On W2k through terminal services(telnet, not web admin). I'm not sure what application/remote admin mode means.
