I seem to be getting STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION of quite a few occasions. 1. The real show stopper for me is when lyx tries to launch other programs ( viewers ). But I also saw this happening when I use strace with the -p option. It seems to be creating the SH.EXE.stackdump file pasted below. 2. Another problem I had was while trying to launch vi, I get a CYGNCURSES5.DLL not found message. Thanks for the help -sony --------------- I found some discussions about a bug in fork(). Is this a known issue currently.
