Thanx! -- v I guess you missed the README and the announcement on the Cygwin home page (under "News") about the Cygwin 1.3.3 release. Both mention the fact that the // notation has been removed. If you search the mail list archives, you'll see many messages about the fact that this syntax has been deprecated for a long time and even recent messages giving folks forewarning that the syntax will be removed from 1.3.3. That's the disadvantage of not paying attention! ;-) Don't worry, you're not the only one that missed all these reminders/warnings! :-) Larry Hall lhall AT rfk DOT com RFK Partners, Inc. http://www.rfk.com 118 Washington Street (508) 893-9779 - RFK Office Holliston, MA 01746 (508) 893-9889 - FAX -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
