Same happens with the latest gdb snapshot (20010918), and the problem is solved if I go back to 1.3.2. This problem seems to have happened quite a few times in the past under w2k, but nobody ever reported a solution (in fact, it seems that cygwin developpers couldn't reproduce the problem). Of course, gdb can even not debug itself in this case... how can I help more? fred Cygnus Win95/NT Configuration Diagnostics Current System Time: Tue Sep 18 16:06:39 2001 WinNT Ver 5.0 build 2195 Service Pack 2 Path: /home/devernay/.os/cygwin/bin /home/devernay/shell /bin /usr/X11R6/bin /proj/chir/home/.os/cygwin/bin /proj/chir/home/cygwin/pvm3/bin/CYGWIN /proj/chir/home/cygwin/pvm3/lib /cygdrive/c/PROGRA~1/MICROS~3/Common/msdev98/BIN /cygdrive/c/PROGRA~1/MICROS~3/VC98/BIN /cygdrive/c/PROGRA~1/MICROS~3/Common/TOOLS/WINNT /cygdrive/c/PROGRA~1/MICROS~3/Common/TOOLS /usr/local/bin /usr/local/bin/i686-pc-cygwin /usr/bin /bin /cygdrive/c/WINNT/SYSTEM32 /cygdrive/c/WINNT /cygdrive/c/WINNT/SYSTEM32/WBEM SysDir: C:\WINNT\System32 WinDir: C:\WINNT CYGWIN = `binmode ntsec tty' USER = `devernay' HOME = `/home/devernay' PWD = `/home/devernay/gdb+dejagnu-20010918/gdb' MAKE_MODE = `unix' -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Bug reporting: http://cygwin.com/bugs.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
