[Goal] I want to achieve 1 single executable, independent of any other files. [Problem] I noticed that executables, generated by the GNU C++ Compiler (g++) can only be run in coöperation with the file *cygwin1.dll* [Question] Is there a way to generate an executable which doesn't need this dll to run? A special compiling-option perhaps? My knowledge of the whole Cygwin-structure is too small to have a clear view on this subject.
