"good" is probably in the eye of the beholder... I personally like either Lucida Console, Courier New (which is narrower than Courier), and one of the fonts that comes from the NetTerm download site. Can't remember which one. A search of google.com for "free +monospaced +fonts" yeilded a few good hits. This one looked particularly promising: http://home.bsu.edu/prn/monofont/ Troy -----Original Message----- From: Schnepf, Mark [mailto:mschnepf AT chx DOT com] Sent: Monday, August 27, 2001 10:14 AM To: 'cygwin AT cygwin DOT com' Subject: Non X rxvt fonts Hi, I am having a little font problem with rxvt on Windows NT4.0. I am NOT using X. When I use the r_ansi-13 font, the left edge of some characters gets chopped off. I tried some other fonts, like Andale Mono and Courier New, but I don't like how they look. They are way too wide for me. When I use cygwin.bat, the raster font 6x13 looks great. Does anyone know of a source of a free narrow monospaced font that works well with rxvt, or how to fix the chopping problem? I am using rxvt version 2.7.2. Thanks.
