It starts to lose partial data on record 40904665 where the records are 105 in size and eventually dies taking NT with it. This looks to be a 4GB file size problem. The program has run on aix AIX using the function fopen64 but I could not find an equivalent in the gcc libraries. I am still using fopen. Are functions available for large file handling. Any help would be much appreciated.
