But the error, "could not find ssl library" still comes. ======================================================= checking for OpenSSL directory... configure: error: Could not find working Open SSL library, please install or check config.log ======================================================= We also tried giving $./configure --with-ssl-dir=/usr/local/openssl where /usr/local/openssl is the directory which contains the include, bin & lib files of SSL. The changes to OpenSSH needed for Cygwin are part of the official sources so I wonder about that question. Search for `HAVE_CYGWIN' in the sources and you're on the right track.
