However, if I resize by mouse, it adopts the full window size when I start the vi session. I am not cerrtain this is vi related. Looking at the bash window I see scrolled of the screen, the following error winShadowUpdateDDNL () - IDirectDrawSurface4_Blt () failed: 887601ae I do not have the sources. X is launched from cygwin. rxvt is used rather than xterm (scroll bar advantage). I get done what I want to do, so have I am content to live with this; however, thought it may shed light on the discussions of the day.
