I was upgrading from 1.1.8 when I got 1.3.2. When I do su --version, it tells me "GNU sh-utils 1.16"...and the sh-utils package that came with 1.3.2 is v2.0-2...and doesn't contain an su executable. Maybe it came with b20 and I just held onto it when I upgraded from b20 to 1.1.8. Anyway, the other message about the e-mail archive message that elaborates on "it works not as you expect it to do" basically says use "login" instead of su. -Sandeep Peter Buckley wrote: > Could you elaborate- > > "it works not as you expect it to do" > > ... > > well how do we expect it to work, > and how does it really work? > > And if it isn't included, why do > some people have it with 1.3.2, and > others don't? > > -Peter > > -----Original Message----- > From: Gerrit P.
