This is related with the mouse behaviour in screen oriented application (mc, of course :). While in the w32 (2.7.2-w32e) version everything is ok (i.e. you click'n'doubleclick happily everywhere on the screen, having the actions performed), in the last contrib version (2.7.2-6) the actions are performed with a random timeout, because the text selection is the main action the mouse perfomes. Is there any configure option available to turn this to the w32 version? Some observations: When compiling the contrib source with a replaced version of libX11.a (the one from the w32 version) the things turn to "my" good behaviour. Also with the "good" w32 version of the rxvt, after a "TERM=rxvt; reset" set of commands, the behaviour turns to the unwanted contrib version.
