There is no need to do that, as every message already has a unique
identifier - the Message-Id: which in the case of your message is
<20010624 DOT 002755 DOT 107712883 DOT Takaaki DOT Ota AT am DOT sony DOT com>. Use of this not
allows direct reference to the particular message, but also allows
correct threading of messages (if the mailer offers this facility.)
