Ummm...cygipc (e.g. ipc-daemon, the test programs, etc) are cygwin applications that use the Windows shared memory interface. If you don't want to use cygipc itself, you can always look at the code as an example. (note that your IPC code would then be a derivative work and would be affected by Phillipe Lange's copyright and licensing terms (GPL) ...so you wouldn't be able to "own" or separately relicense your IPC code -- you would be required to GPL your program...) --Chuck -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
